The simplest DIY body wash recipe ever! - I don't know why, but it's so hard to find a good body wash that 1- doesn't break the bank, but 2- isn't filled with toxic chemicals no one asked for!
This is where i'm so grateful i've found a fab DIY recipe to be able to whip my own up at the drop of a hat, but also has the simplest ingredients!
Ingredients:
- 250ml Lotion bottle of choice
- 250ml Liquid Castile Soap
- Dash of Sweet Almond or Jojoba carrier oil (Optional)
- Essential oils of choice - we recommend the Eco Modern Essentials Oils on our website, but any other HIGH QUALITY essential oils will work. (if you need ideas, ylang ylang and Free Spirit is yum!)
Method:
- Take the lid off the lotion bottle and fill with the Liquid Castile soap.
- Add a dash of carrier oil of choice, this is completely optional but enhances moisturising.
- Add Essential oils of choice, For daily use, we suggest no more than 2% essential oils, Which is technically around 160 drops - you definitely don't need this many, they're super potent and less is usually more - I personally only use around 20-30 in total.
- Put lid back on, give a good shake, and it's ready to go!
- (PS, if its a new bottle, don't forget to give the pump a twist to unlock it 😉)
How to use:
- Add a few pumps to your hand or a sponge and wash your body daily.
